Another accomplished project by Gomintec – AES Airport Solutions in Turkey.
After strong and detailed technical analysis Gomintec – AES Airport Solutions was selected to supply new LED technology lights for the runway edge, taxiways, stop bars and complete approach, as well as DSP CCRs for the refurbishment of Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport, in the North of Turkey and very close to the Black Sea.
The project has been successfully finished on time thanks to the great support or our branch office AES-TURKEY and cooperation with local partner Avitrel.

A successful Project at Palma de Mallorca Airport, Spain

We finished 2020 with an interesting Project at Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain.
This airport, the main at Balearic Islands, was visited by 30 milions of nationals and international passengers in 2019.
Within the resurfacing runways protocols in the airports operated by Aena, they trusted in Gomintec – AES Airport Solutions to supply them the taxiway and rapid exit lights associated with the 06L24R runway, LED TGSL-H Airsafe Signs, LED Runway guard lights and primary cables.
All the equipment has been supplied in a really short time and properly integrated on the ILCMS existing in the airport.
Another successful Project which is running perfectly.

Airsafe Airport Equipment lands in Leeds Bradford Airport

After an in-depth market research and a subsequent tender involving the main AGL manufacturers, LEEDS BRADFORD Airport selected Airsafe Airport Equipment as their partner for the supply of new complete LED fittings to replace existing Tungsten Halogen fittings for the main runway.
This project involves the supply of elevated and inset LED lights for the following applications Runway Edge, Centreline, Touchdown Zone, Supplementary Approach, Threshold and Elevated Approach. There are also Stop Bar LED fittings for the Ring of Reds on taxiway approaches.
This new achievement is another step forward in the penetration of Airsafe Airport Equipment in the European Market through their exclusive distributors for Europe AES Airfield Equipment & Services SL.
In the course of 2016 AES secured contracts on behalf of Airsafe in several platforms in Europe such as

A new major step forward has been completed by Airsafe Airport Equipment with the introduction of the top end of the range of LED light fittings.

A team of highly skilled Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal, Optical, and Reliability Engineers worked hand in hand with Industrial Designers, Lab Technicians, and Manufacturing personnel to accelerate the development and commercialization of this new 12 inch inset low protrusion LED range for High Intensity applications

The range of 12 inch LED inset light fittings covers the following applications:

New Contract for Milan Airports

After a successful installation of a first batch of Airsafe LED Taxiway Centreline fittings type TCLMS-08-LED-E, AES Airfield Equipment & Services has been selected for the supply of low protrusion LED Taxiway Centreline fittings and LED Taxiway Guidance Signs within the frame of a pluri annual maintenance and refurbishing contract for the Milan Airports Authority.

The TCLMS Taxiway Centreline fittings are equipped with an Active Fail Open Device working on the five brilliancy steps of the circuit.
The Active Fail Open Device not only monitors the status of the LED array but it is also monitoring the electronics powering the LEDs. This feature is not covered by the common Fail Open Devices available on the market.
In addition the Active Fail Open Device is self-resetting eliminating the need of any manual intervention after repair of the failure.
